toward the proper understanding of all formations of churches (and by "church," we mean "a group of people")

INTRODUCTION

REGARDING THE POLITICAL-POWER SCENE in the U.S.A., (and the rest of the world), I think Noam Chomsky summed thing up best when he said the earth is "ruled," by what amounts to a small collection of 'warring "M.A.F.I.A." families;' I would only add, 'except now more in a cartoon/marval-comic, "TV-babysitter," sort of fashion;' instead of the blood-bond of a family connection the Cult of Banks, (COB), here on the earth seeks to establish a sort of professional-wrestling-style sort of blood-loyalty to an array of imaginary and warring churches, and they do this through indoctrination, (using the established churches much like pawns in a game), and intimidation, (the confidence game), the well-worn methods that are effective in the formation of cults everywhere, i.e. sleeplessness and overwork, (worry for the "economy"), blackmail, fear of a common enemy.. and of course the ever approaching "end of the world," (because within each of us is a primal fear of death and the consciousness of it, most of us remain children inwardly, and then outwardly; we never stand up and take authority in our own lives and therefore any authority we are given in the world is someone else's; we go blindly perpetuating the loss of innocence, feeling there is no way to restore it.. just as "Adam," was driven from "Paradise"), and it's all a lie, or finely crafted collection of lies so intertwined with the truth no one can separate, or "weed it out."  And oh.. if only Jesus would come back, we lament, woe is the world.. woe is us.. but I am just an "artist," a reflection of the great and powerful wizard of all never-land ex-press...

BECAUSE THERE IS NO ESCAPING the group, (the family, tribe, nation.. etc.).. we will all, after a certain point, decide what our connection to the group is going to be... (unless, of course, we are Jeremiah Johnson**).  This goes back to my childhood and I am thinking of the day I realized I had to die and there was no getting out of it.  What is curious to me now is the sense I am not going to die.  The truth of the matter being I have never once thought I will die and I've heard many many people describe this same feeling; that there is no such thing as death to the individual, rather only death as it is experienced within the surviving people of the group.  If this is an illusion, this inability to imagine my own death, it can nevertheless be played upon in a damaging way, (imagination and fantasy), by not only my self, but a well intentioned church member or authority.. (the question being, "who, exactly, is authoring the book?).

How this relates to the cause of the individual versus the group is the identification of the fact that there is no experience of death within the individual, even in sleep, we might equate death with those moments of sleep that do not include dreaming, and we should be quick to realize there is no memory, no personal experiencing those moments.. we can only be told about them when we are awake.. this make the telling of experience profound in its influence over a group and an individual alike.. but who has come back from the dead to tell us what it is like?  No one.  And we should be even quicker to realize the stories of men who have come back from the dead are themselves "tellings," but not of experience; they are merely tellings of tellings, twice removed from any real experience, or are the experience rather of telling and being told.  And here is where the quality of "charisma," rises to its absolute glory.. the trouble being, charisma is the sharpest of all the "double-edged swords," known to man.. it has been this way first, now, and always.

WE CAN SAY WITH ASSURANCE WE are in no hurry to jump into the political scene here in the U.S.A. (and by "we," I mean, "the ghosts and my self"), yet feel some nagging sense of responsibility to do just that; it is a very curious sort of "dilemma," in the management of emotion and action but we are going to state early here in the introduction that it is our own personal emotion and action we seek to manage, or "master," (or command), and we can only urge others to do the same but we have learned over time to bear no expectations or hopes, (we believe there is something far greater than hope to be had, or experienced, in this lifetime and it is our intention to operate from that seat); we do of course have hopes and dreams and hold no grudge against it, we simply do not allow our self to be pushed around by them.

The "why," or "why now," of this piece can be illustrated with this chart, (linked below), detailing the fluctuating membership in ALCOHOLICS ANONYMOUS in the first quarter of the 21st century:

Being something of a long-time-member of Alcoholics Anonymous I've been recently reevaluating my role in that group, (or "church" as defined above), and found that this table of figures presents an odd sort of trend, a fact, or statistic that I felt every other member of A.A. might benefit from being made aware of, namely, the fact that Alcoholics Anonymous has lost 1.3 million members since 2001 and yet at the same time somehow gained 20,000 new groups.  In my mind this correlates to a trend in the greater Christianity all over the world, (the growing number of "denominations," along with a declining percentage of world population), because it has always been my tendency to think of A.A. as just another denomination of the Christian Church, (although, admittedly, with Jesus removed, or hidden).  How this is relevant to the creation of POLITICARENUS is probably not relevant.  What is relevant to me is my "agenda," or intention, my purpose and aim in creating a page devoted to the role of the individual in the group as that seems to be as inescapable as "death," or a part of life that we are all faced with every day of our lives; my main group-connection on the earth just happens to be that of membership in Alcoholics Anonymous.

POLITICARENA is significant also because of the times we are living in where "America," (the U.S.A. -the "most powerful nation in the world"), is faced with the prospects of seeing its "constitution," changed, or "amended," possibly beyond recognition, (if one understands and considers the difference between "democracy," and "dictatorship").  Added to that is the fact that we are all limited in our personal understanding what these words mean.. (possibly any words beyond "yes," and "no," even).  But there is little attention given to the individual "constitution," and the need for that to be formed and evaluated, and re-evaluated continually as far as its effectiveness in keeping us alive goes.. (if not "happy and healthy," at least alive).. there is no national care for the individual constitution.. there is no real regard for it, no nurturing of it, not on the media front, (TV-Nanny), where we are all subjected to the bombardment of horseshit continually, day in, day out, day in, day out.. until, it seems, someone is made happy by the fact that we have been made completely mad, and that person, of course, is the cult leader.. or.. such is his hope.. unfortunately things don't turn out good for him.. and why any man would pursue his innate lust to become a cult leader, ("the king of the castle"), is a thing none of us will ever know the precise "why," of.. we will forever be entangled in the entrails of the thing.

It matters very little to me how the thing should be expressed and reviewed, accepted or rejected, by the individual, the group, the madhouse..
